Gayty was the matriarch of the beautiful family she created with her late husband Richard Petrone. When you think of her you think of love and you think of light, because that is what she was. She was always there for her family to protect them, guide them and shower them with unconditional love and hugs. Her hugs were the best. She was the best grandmother and even more wonderful as a great grandmother – she had a remarkable bond with her great grandchildren, one they will cherish forever. Gay was a wonderful waitress at Ricci’s Family Restaurant for over 40 years where she made so many wonderful friends. She loved all her customers, and they all loved her back! Gay will be missed by all, but we know she is dancing with her husband once again. We love you so much our beautiful Gaygay
Private interment in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Her Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday (November 3, 2024) beginning at 1:00pm at Trustest Treasurez, 3765 Chili Ave Rochester NY 14624.
I love you so much gram. Thank you for giving me 45 years of unconditional love and for loving your great granddaughters , “gaygays girls” with that same unconditional love. We will forever be blessed by you. We miss you so much.
I love you – and no you don’t love me more, it isn’t possible.
My heart breaks for all of you.
She was a beautiful soul.
I’m here for anything any of you need, & love you all very much.
I met her many years ago. She was a caring, beautiful, person. Sending lots of love and prayers to the family.
Amanda- we loved seeing your grandma at Ricci’s. She was always such a sweet spirit. We hope you soon find comfort in happy memories. 💚💚

What a great person my Mom’s best friend was. I’m know that Gay and Barb are all together in some way, if not today, in the future, dancing and laughing with all their family!! God Bless you Aunt Gay!
