MacDonald, Gail Greece: Gail passed into the loving arms of her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on March 24, 2014. Predeceased by her husband Max Robert MacDonald, and companion William P. McGwin Sr. Survived by her nieces, Linda Wagenaar of Henderson, NV, and Sally Viviani of Rochester, NY; god-daughter, Kimberley Hoffman and Kimberly’s parents James and Jacqueline VanAuken. A special thanks to the Jewish Home of Rochester and medical staff of 5SW and Lifetime Care Hospice for their excellent care treatment of Gail in her last days. A Memorial service will be celebrated on Friday, March 28, 2014, 2:00PM at Hope Lutheran Church, 1301 Vintage Lane. Interment will be held privately in Webster Rural Cemetery. Farewell, my dear friend and traveling companion–we had so many good trips together: Germany, Ireland, Alaska, Switzerland, Italy, and many miles in our USA. and Canada…wonderful memories and fun times. I will miss you very much after knowing you for so many years–going back to Security Safe days with Max’s career there. These friendships are impossible to replace……
Gail was my big-hearted, loving guide and mentor into the work world. She made me laugh with childhood stories about dressing up her pet chicken Linda. Her patience, integrity, and positive spirit were abundant. Blessings on your way, Gail.
