Dale and Family, I was so surprised when Kay told me of Fritz’s passing. There were no words I could offer my dear friend to comfort her. May your heart and soul find peace and comfort. They live on forever in our memories.

I was league coordinator at Maiden Lanes for 5 years before it was closed. Fritz bowled in our Tuesday Night Men’s league. It was falling apart when he got there and I asked him if he would help make it better. He became the ‘President’ and because of his leadership and friendly ways the league grew. He always smiled through all the problems and at the end of the year we gave him a trophy as a small way to say thank you. I only saw him once or twice after that at Dewey Gardens where his league went. He was smiling then too. I know how much he would have been missed at Maiden Lanes. I can only imagine your loss. For whatever it is worth, I will keep you in my prayers. I know where Fritz is bowling now the conditions are MUCH better than at Dewey. He’s just there way too soon.

I was saddened to hear of Freddies passing. It certainly was way to soon. I was a childhood friend and through adolescence we did many things together. We were then best friends and invincible. As we past our teen years we moved away and lost touch. He was a better athlete than I and he did take advantage of a hanging curveball but he has since been forgiven. I was included in some family functions as his father took the time to teach us baseball and was involved in childhood activities. Knowing this, it does not surprise me that he turned out to be such a rich man who accumulated fabulous wealth of family and friends. And during my time in life, this is what I finally realized is the most important. My thoughts and prayers are with his family and wish them well in carrying on, allowing these wonderful memories to see them through.

I worked with Fritz at Kodak. I will always have fond memories of our little visits in his office. He would talk endlessly of his family. Always quick to show me the latest picture of a new granddaughter or fill me in on what his sons were up to. Always with a grin on his face and a twinkle in his eyes. I had the utmost respect for Fritz and considered it an honor to be his bud. I will miss him dearly and think of him often. My prayers our with you all.
