Dear Russell, Nancy and Steenhoff family,
Deb and I were so sad to get your call about your Dad. We always enjoyed his visits here to see Mom. Going out to dinner, talking ‘shop’ and, of course, cooking lobsters for him for a ‘fest’ out on the porch will always be fond memories. His visits will be missed by us, Kristin and Erika and our grandsons.

It is with sincere regret that I learned of your loss, Steenhoff family.

I have such fond memories of Fred (and Russ) as they supported the Rochester amateur radio community in so many ways over the years. Fred was one of the truly good men in that respect; a breed that seems to be fading from view as time marches onward.

May the Steenhoff family find peace in their memories and joy in their future.

Love and light to the whole family. Mike, Xavier, Kian, and I will remember his visits fondly. He was such a joy to talk and laugh with and is woven into so many wonderful memories.
