Greece: January 17, 2015 at age 83. Predeceased by his loving parents, Frank and Caroline Lindsay; brothers, Floyd and Edward Lindsay. Survived by his loving wife Helen Lindsay; daughters and sons, Sue Lindsay, Frank (Julie) Lindsay, Robert Lindsay, Janet (Dennis) Norton, Joanne (Dan) Stern; 16 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great- grandchild; many loving family and dear friends. Frank was born in Rochester, NY and is a proud veteran of the United States Marine Corp., he served our country during the Korean war, was on active duty for 5 years, and the reserves for many years to follow. He was an active member of the Cooper Marine Post 603. Following his years of service, Frank retired after 30 hard working years from Eastman Kodak. For many years he was a member of the City of Rochester Pipe band where he played the Bass Drum. He was a recipient of a heart transplant at Cleveland Clinic which gave him an additional 15 wonderful years to spend with his family. The family would like to thank Hildebrandt Hospice and Canandaigua VA Medical Center for all their hardwork and care they gave to Frank. Frank’s Funeral Mass will be celebrated Saturday, January 24th, 9:30AM at Our Mother of Sorrows Church 5000 Mt. Read Blvd. Rochester NY, 14612. Interment will follow Mass in White Haven Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Lifetime Care c/o Hildebrandt Hospice 3111 S.     Frank(Dick) and I go back a long time. It was great to play golf with him for a few years before he had to give it up. My condolence, Helen, to you and your family.

    Helen and Family:
    Sorry to hear of Frank’s passing. We did a lot of work together at Kodak in Rochester and Toronto Canada, lots of good times and beer’s. Oh the stories I could tell, but I won’t. Rest in peace.
