Laura Washburn . I remember when Uncle Frank was home on leave from the navy. some of my siblings and I were living with Grandma and Grampa Diehl at the time. He seemed a larger than life figure to me then. He had quite a full life. He was also predeceased by his sisters francis merkle and dorothy washburn [ my mom ], as well as several nieces and nephews, of which there were many. Some of us had a very nice visit with him recently, so very glad we did.

Uncle Frank, You were always so kind to me and my family. When I was young you helped me out immensely by providing me with a vehicle so I could get to and from work. I don’t know anyone that would ever say a negative word about you. I hope you rest in peace and now can be in heavenly peace with Aunt Ann. Love, Jared and Preya Flynn
