Frank C. Rivers

Greece: born on June 29, 1937, in Rochester, New York, passed away peacefully on April 14, 2025, in Rochester, surrounded by his loving family.

Frank shared 62 wonderful years of marriage with the love of his life, Beverly Rivers. Together they built a close-knit family that includes their daughter Cheryl Rivers (Jay Kirk), their son Frank Rivers, Jr., and four cherished grandchildren: Justin Allen, Jordan Allen (Harvard Medina), Brianna Rivers, and Shane Rivers.

He is also remembered by his sisters and brother-in-law Patricia and Dr. Robert Mikols, and Jean Barton; sister-in-law Marlene Dana; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins who held him dear.

For 37 years, Frank managed the Sherwin-Williams store in Irondequoit, where he became a familiar and respected figure in the community. Known for his kindness and compassion toward everyone he met, Frank left a lasting impression on everyone who knew him.

His Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday (April 23rd) at 9:30 AM at Saint Lawrence Church, Greece. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Pluta Breast Cancer Center in honor of Frank’s generous spirit.

He will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him. May his memory bring comfort to those who loved him.
