Florence Jane Gilbert-Smith Greece: August 16, 2023 at age 87. Went home to be with the Lord, her parents George and Annabelle Berry: Sister, Kathy Fitzgerald; granddaughter, Amber Victorious; husbands, Louis Victorious, Robert Gilbert and Ormond Smith. She is survived by her children, Linda (John) Norris, George Victorious; her siblings, Arline (Larry) Gerdes, Shirley Knapp; sister-in-law Diana (Clarence) Venette; grandchildren, Jennifer (Mark) Laemlein, Louis Victorious, Jonathan (Linda Perkins), Michael Victorious, George (Hazel) Victorious, Odin Victorious, Gaia Victorious; great-grandchildren, Derek Laemlein, Nathan Perkins, Ashlee Laemlein, Angelina Perkins, Miles Victorious, Chase Victorious, and Albert Victorious; many nieces, nephews, friends and acquaintances. Florence’s visitation will be held Friday, August 25 from 4:00 – 6:00 pm at Vay-Schleich and Meeson 1075 Long Pond Rd. with a prayer service to follow at 6:00 pm. Interment, Saturday, August 26, at 1:00 pm Holy Sepulchre cemetery (Meet at Dewey gate). In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Barnard Fire Department, 3084 Dewey Ave, Rochester, NY 14616.
