Survived by his loving wife, Patricia; son, Dale Roper; daughters, Vicki(Henrie)Daniels, Valerie(William)Thomas, Robin Roper Meier; step children, Michael Basala of Long Island, Lori Earley; grandchildren, Joshua(Shena)Roper and Guy Roper, Jimmy and Matt Hellaby; Kristi & Stacia Thomas; step grandchildren, Kyle & Shaelyn Earley; great-grandchildren, Rylee and Jackson Roper. Friends may call Sunday 4-7PM at the Vay-Schleich & Meeson Funeral Home, 1075 Long Pond Road. His Funeral Service will be held Monday, 11:00 AM in the Chapel of the Funeral Home. Interment, Pine Bank Cemetery, Cheshire, NY. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Dialysis Patients Fund at Rochester General Hospital, 370 Ridge Road East, Rochester, NY 14621 or the National Kidney Foundation, 15 Prince Street, Rochester, Ny 14607 in his memory.
