Greece: Monday, November 5, 2007 at age 80. Gene went home with the Lord surrounded by his family with grace and dignity. He is predeceased by his parents, William (Margaret) Scheib; brothers, William Scheib, Bernard Scheib & Francis Scheib; sisters, Agnes Smith, Rosemary Young & Margaret Scheib. He is survived by his devoted wife, Thelma (Radel) Scheib; sons, Robert (Nanette Bulter) Scheib, John (Suzanne) Scheib, James Scheib, Michael (Lauren) Scheib, Paul (David Emlen) Scheib & Daniel (Angela) Scheib; daughter, Patricia (Alan) Redfern; grandchildren, Jason, Tiffany, Kyrsten, Flynn, Kacey, Jason, Christopher, Elizabeth, Patrick, Jack, Kimberly, Allison, Stephanie & Samantha; great-grandchild, Nory; several nieces, nephews and cousins; many friends. Eugene is a Veteran of the U.S. Navy and a retiree of Sealtest Dairy & Eastman Kodak Co. Friends may call Thursday 4-7 P.M. at Vay-Schleich & Meeson Funeral Home, 1075 Long Pond. His Funeral Mass will be celebrated, Friday 10:00 A.M. at Holy Family Church, 415 Ames Street, Rochester NY 14611. Interment held privately in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Holy Family Church in his memory.

    Dear Thelma and family, Charlie and I extend our prayers to all of you at the lost of Gene we know what a good person he was and the wonderful memories you all will have of him. I am sorry we will not be able to attend as we have had some health problems, but we will give Holy Family a donation in his memory.     Thelma and Family: From my heart to yours, I send you all my deepest sympathies on the passing of Gene. He was a wonderful husband, father, and grandfather, and a good friend to anyone that knew him. I remember the jokester in him so vivdly in that smile of his. Viewing the photographs brought back many wonderful memories of the past and good times shared with all of you. Although I could not give you my prayers and heart felt smypathies personally, know that you are all in my heart, thoughts, and prayers.

    You and Gene were a great couple..Ican remember when you and him dated and how you and hjim always were happy..I am so sorry to hear of his passing.. Just remember he is now in heaven with all his friends and family from Burrows St. He was a good man and will deeply be missed Love you in my thouhgts and prayers Carrie and James West
