We thought again of Gene at our Eucher night and all the times we got together, or saw him walking along the streets of Mill Landing. He’ll be missed in our community. Bud and Emmy

Dear Pietak family: I’m so sorry to learn about Mr. Pietak’s passing. We were backyard neighbors in the 60’s and 70’s in Greece and teacher/student at Charlotte High School. May your fond memories help you in the days ahead.

Gene….. The Lord took you and you will be sorely missed. Val and I so enjoyed spending time with you and Harriett over the years. Brush up on your golf game; I will meet you on Heavens First tee when it is my turn to join you. Dave (cousin) & Val Pachla

I was so sorry to hear of Mr. Pietak’s passing. He was my high school math teacher back in the 70’s and he was an awesome teacher!! I learned to love math!! I ran in to him several years ago at Hope and was so pleased to see him! He made a positive impact on my life! I was blessed to have gotten to meet him. We send our love and prayers to the family!
