Although I never knew you, your daughter Nancy loved you very much and spoke of you often.

May my Uncle Ernie rest in peace. When I was little we lived across the street from him and he always had a good sense of humor. He has a special place in my husband and my heart as he also was my wedding photographer! While its been years since I saw him personally, we kept in touch by email and I will miss all the jokes he sent me!

My deepest sympathies, Nancy. You have been in my thoughts and heart. Uncle Ernie was someone I remember as adventurous and fearless. I remember him for his motorcycle and the freedom I imagined he felt while riding it in the wilderness or wherever. More recently- we bowled together- and he always kept a great sense of humor. He is missed I’m sure- but is somewhere cracking jokes and laughing. I like that picture! Love, Nijole

Nance I’m so sorry for your loss. I wish I had more memories of Uncle Ernie but being the youngest in the family prohibited me from getting to know him better. I do know and will miss his sense of humor as I will miss the jokes he sent via email. May he be resting in peace now. You are in my thoughts and prayers over this Holiday season. Love, Debby

Nancy, I am so sorry about your Dad. He must have been a wonderful man to receive an accolade as honorable as a Purple Heart. His generation being called ‘The Greatest’ was no small acclaim. There will never be another as strong, full of integrity & character as theirs was. My heart aches with yours this holiday season.

Nancy, I am very sorry for your loss. The pictures on this site are very touching. I am glad you were by your father’s side at the end of his life. I know he was happy to have you there with him. May you have many happy memories of him. I know he will be in your heart forever and time will gradually ease the pain you are feeling now. God bless you and your father. Always…….Carol

Nancy,… I’m so sorry for your loss. But Uncle Ernie will never be forgotten…he’s my longest surviving relative that I actually knew, and I’m so happy to have had in my life! I always thought he was so cute! and I’ll never forget visiting at your house when I was little and ALWAYS hearing the police radio going! I always thought that was the coolest thing ever! and to this day when I hear one go off Uncle Ernie’s smiling face just pops right up!! 🙂 Love, Kristine

We were so sorry to learn of your great loss. Ernie was a member of our Finger Lakes BMW motorcycle club, and we have very fond memories of him. Please accept our deepest sympathy.

We will miss Ernie’s sense of humour, his emails and jokes across the pond to UK. He was a wonderful partner and support to our Auntie Ann. Many condolences and love to all the family.
