Elizabeth ‘Betty’ Orgel

Greece: Peacefully on Thursday, October 6, 2016 at age 89. Beloved wife and mother, predeceased by her husband, Robert Orgel, and infant sons Mark and Michael. Survived by her children, Susan (John) Steinwachs, James (Margaret) Orgel, Mary Ellen (Austin/’Skip’) Tait, Robert (Maureen) Orgel, Marie Orgel; grandchildren, Jennifer (Dean) Campbell, Patrick, John, Ryan and Amy Orgel; greatgrandchildren Maura and Emory Campbell; sister, Carol Hadley of Buffalo. She also was a foster mother for the Catholic Family Center to over 50 newborns. Betty’s visitation will be held Saturday, October 8th 11 AM – 1 PM at Vay-Schleich & Meeson Funeral Home, 1075 Long Pond Rd. Her Funeral Service will follow in the funeral home at 1:00 PM. Private interment in White Haven Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Golisano Children’s Hospital (www.urmc.rochester.edu) in her memory.
