Elizabeth Ann Hamilton

Greece:  Wednesday, July 17, 2024.   Elizabeth is predeceased by her husband of 58 years , Kenneth Hamilton; son in law, John P. Meade; parents, Aime and Ann Messe; brother, Aime (Bud) Messe . Survived by sons, John Hamilton, Brother James Hamilton (CFC) and Thomas Hamilton; daughters, Ann (Michael) Catalfano ,Mary Beth Meade (John Fisher); grandchildren, Lisa O’Brien ( Bill Clark) , Mark ( Andrea) Catalfano . Bridget Meade ( Ryan Yunker) , Kyle Meade; great grandchildren Danny and  Aidan O’Brien , Dominic and Tommy Catalfano and Eva and Billy Clark; sister in law, Joan Pratt and many dear nieces and nephews . Elizabeth attended Nazareth Academy and Nazareth College. She was a legal secretary before marriage and a substitute teacher for the Rochester Diocese. She also loved her job at the Rochester Convention and Visitors Bureau. She was a member of the prayer shawl ministry at St. Thomas the Apostle Church. Most of all,  Elizabeth was a woman proud of her Catholic faith who deeply loved all her family. The family thanks the caregivers at Hamilton Manor, Unity Hospital (4400) and Hildebrandt Hospice.

Friends may call Sunday (July 21st) 2-5 PM at Vay-Schleich and Meeson, 1075 Long Pond Road.  Her Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday (July 22nd) 10:30 AM at Holy Cross Church.  Interment, Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.  ln lieu of flowers, please consider donations to Edmund Rice Christian Brothers 260 Wilmot Rd. .New Rochelle , NY 10804-1526 or to a charity of your choice in her memory.
