Edward R. Schmidt Greece: Friday, April 27, 2018 at age 94. Predeceased by his wife, Martha “Ruth” Schmidt; brothers, John and Joseph; sister, Anna Haley. Survived by his children, Gloria (Denis) O’Connor, Joan (Richard) Jasper, Robert (Marcia) Schmidt, Bruce (Debra) Schmidt; 10 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; brother, Gerard “Jerry” (Marge) Schmidt; many nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends. The family wishes to thank the staff at Edna Tina Wilson Living Center for the loving care given to Edward over several years. Edward worked at Gleason works for several years. No prior calling. His Mass of Christian Burial will be held Wednesday (May 2nd) 9:30 AM at St. Charles Borromeo Church. Interment, Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
