Rochester: Sunday, October 12, 2014 at age 95. Predeceased by his wife, Eleanor Calkins Start; son, Richard W. Start. Survived by his daughter, Karen S. (Thomas A.) Klingenberger; daughter-in-law, Kathleen Start; three grandsons, Robert S. (Sarah P.) Klingenberger, Edward S. Klingenberger and Donald Benjamin Start. Ed graduated from Mechanics Institute (R.I.T.) and was a chemist at Eastman Kodak for 42 years, a 60-year member of the Masonic Order and active at Greece United Methodist Church. The family thanks the staff of the SCU at St. Ann’s Home and Lifetime Care for their most excellent care and compassion. Friends may call Wednesday (Oct 15th) 4-7 PM at Vay-Schleich and Meeson Funeral Home, 1075 Long Pond Road, Greece Chapel. His Funeral Service will be held Thursday 10:00 AM at Greece United Methodist Church, 1924 Maiden Lane. Interment, Irondequoit Cemetery.
