Conway, Edvard P. III Greece: Wednesday, August 26, 2015 at age 83. Predeceased by his son, Michael Francis; sisters, Anne McCombs & Margaret Hush. Survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Barbara; children, Edvard P. IV (Barbara), Donna (Matt Oster) & Karen (Eric) Meyris; granddaughters, Heather & Sarah Meyris; nieces, nephews; special friends, Tom and Carole Ann Lee and many dear friends and fellow firefighters. Edvard was a proud veteran of the United States Army and served our Country in the Korean War. He was a graduate of Niagara University, retiree of Eastman Kodak Co. and a past Chief of Lake Shore Fire Department. Edvard enjoyed reading, playing cards, socializing with his Breakfast Club and attending his granddaughters sporting events. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him. Edvard’s visitation will be held Sunday, August 30th 1-4 PM at Vay-Schleich & Meeson Funeral Home, Greece Chapel. His Funeral Mass will be celebrated Monday, August 31st, 11:00 AM at Holy Cross Church 4492 Lake Ave. Interment, Riverside Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Lake Shore Fire Department, 1 Long Pond Road Rochester, NY 14612 in his memory.
