Edmund J. Meger Rochester: passed away peacefully on the morning of Monday November 8, 2021 while surrounded by his loving children. Born in Buffalo, NY, he served in the Korean War, and settled in Rochester, NY where he raised three children and became a successful self-made entrepreneur. Ed is survived by his son, Mark Meger (wife Colleen, daughter Jessica (Lindsey), son Joshua (Erica), grandchildren, Josephine and Finley), his Daughter, Gwen Thompson (late husband Robert, daughters, Elizabeth (Tim) and Sarah), and Lynn Strang (husband Tim, daughter, Lindsey (Rob), son, Austin (Courtney), and grandchildren Cora and Cade), sister Lorraine Muehlbauer, and multiple nieces and nephews. Ed loved engaging with others and had a positive outlook on life and people. He was an active member of the Elks and Moose Club and will be greatly missed. Friends may call Friday (Nov 12th) 4-7 PM at Vay-Schleich & Meeson, 1075 Long Pond Road, where his Celebration of life will be held following calling at 7:00 PM in the Funeral Home Chapel. Private Interment.
