Greece:  Thursday, May 28, 2020 at age 94 went home to be with her husband, William; son, William K.; brothers, Charles and James Kinne; sister, Anna Chappelle; granddaughter, Christa Mertz and great-granddaughter, Sophia Mertz.  She is survived by her loving daughters, Susan (Richard) Santo, Katharine (Steven) Mertz and Diane Wilson; grandchildren, Robert (Heather) Winch, Carrie Martineau (Michael), Nichole Santo, Andrew (Tiffany) Mertz, Scott Mertz (Marissa), Hannah and William Jacob Wilson; great-grandchildren, Alexia and Nicholas Winch, Connor Martineau, Cecelia, Kade and Roman Mertz, Marian and Elijah Santo; great-grandson, Mitchell; many nieces, nephews & cousins; dear friends. Edith was devoted to her family, had a wonderful sense of humor, selfless and had a quiet demeanor. She was our strength.  She enjoyed her time volunteering with the Greece food shelf and meals on wheels.  Edith was a proud member of Bethany Presbyterian Church where she was a liturgical and Pastoral Deacon.  She served on the Presbyterian home service board, a member of ARC residential committee and an advocate for ARC group homes.  She will be dearly missed by all who knew her. Contributions may be made to the ARC of Monroe or a charity of one’s choice in her memory.  For more information and to sign her online guestbook, visit www.meesonfamily.com Edith and her son, William K. who was born on November 19, 1958 and passed away January 6, 2017 in Houston Texas.  Bill leaves behind his children Hannah and William Jacob Wilson and grand daughter Emmie J.  Edith and Bill will have a celebration of life in the Chapel of Riverside Cemetery on Friday, July 16th at 11:00 AM.  A livestream of their service will be held on facebook.com/meesonfamily.

    I remember Mrs Wilson as being a very strong and devoted mother & grandmother. Tireless in her care of her family. She will be missed by all who were fortunate enough to have known her. God bless Mrs Wilson & her grieving family.
