Cassetta, Donna J. (Johnson) Greece: Wednesday, February 15, 2017 at age 70. Survived by her husband of 48 years, Jack Cassetta; son, John (Alvi) Cassetta; daughter, Janice (Paul) LaBella; grandchildren, Dante and Giovanni Cassetta, Petra LaBella; brother, David Johnson; sister, Sandy (Steve) Crump; several nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends. Donna was employed with Visiting Nurse Service for over 30 years. Friends may call Friday (Feb 17th) 4-7PM at Vay-Schleich and Meeson Funeral Home, 1075 Long Pond Road, where her prayer service will follow calling Friday at 7:00 PM. Donna & I were coworkers at VNS. Words cannot express my sorrow. Donna was so kind and compassionate … her beautiful smile along with her sparkling blue eyes lit up a room. The earth’s loss is heaven’s gain. Please accept my heartfelt condolences. -Pat Kicera
Donna was my preceptor at VNS. She was so patient! In her position as a nurse, I found her to be compassionate, kind and understanding of the unique needs of each patient. She was instrumental in making me a better nurse! Jack, Janice and family – I extend my deepest condolences. I know you’ve all faced a very difficult and long road.
