Donald H. Hart

Rochester:  Peacefully on 2025 Christmas day December 25, at age 94. Don peacefully passed away. He is predeceased by his parents Howard and Hattie Hart and a sister. His loving wife of 34 years, Vera (Bellavia) Hart and step-son Scott Deane.

Survived by his step-children Stephen Petras, Kathy (Tracy) Voss.  Grandchildren Brandon (Anna) Voss,

Chad Voss (Diana), Shane (Danielle) Voss. Connie Rose Deane, Great grandchildren, Madison, Devin, Eli, Nora, Sienna and Hudson and other relatives and friends

Don was an Air Force veteran of the Korean War. Retired from RG&E as a meter reading field supervisor.

Don enjoyed cruising and traveling on bus trips with his Wife Vera. He was a fan of the Chicago Cubs and Buffalo Bills.

Don’s family would like to express a sincere thank you to the staff of Edna Tina Wilson Nursing home and Hospice where he resided for his last 4 1/2 years for giving him care as if he was one of their family. 

Thank you Don for being a loving and caring father to us.  Love you and rest in peace.

Friends may call Saturday (Jan 3rd) 10-11 AM at Vay-Schleich and Meeson, 1075 Long Pond Road, where his Funeral Service will follow calling Saturday at 11:00 AM in the Chapel. Interment, Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Jude Research Hospital , Honor Flight or a charity of your choice in his memory.
