Greece: February 27, 2009 at age 69. Survived by his wife, Linda LeBoo; daughters, Leslie (Charles) Atkinson & Claudine LeBoo; grandchildren, Sydney Lorin Atkinson & Lindsay LeBoo Atkinson; sister, Mary Lou (William) Radford; sisters-in-law, Lucille LeBoo & carol Lee Zimmer; brother-in-law, Andrew Mitrano; several nieces, nephews and cousins; many dear friends. Donald is predeceased by his brothers, Harold LeBoo & Kenneth LeBoo; sister, Dolores Mitrano. Donald is a graduate of Aquinas Institute 57’, a retiree of Delco Products and a Veteran of the U.S. Army. He was a kind and generous uncle to his many nieces and nephews and will be sadly missed by all who knew him. Friends may call Thursday, 4-7 P.M. at Vay-Schleich & Meeson Funeral Home, 1075 Long Pond Road. His Funeral Mass will be celebrated, Friday, 10 A.M. at St. Lawrence Church, 1000 North Greece Road. Interment held at the convenience of family. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Al Sigl Center, 1000 Elmwood Avenue, Suite 300, Rochester, NY 14620-3098 or to the American Heart Association, American Heart Association, Memorial Donations, 1 Union Street, #30, Robbinsville, NJ 08691-4183 in his memory.

Don was one of my commitee men I had at Delco he was very nice and did everything he could to see that you were treated fair. I had a lot of respect for him. My condolances to the family. I know he will be missed.
Donny and I met at St. Anthony of Padua grammer school. He proved to be a good and caring friend to the sick, weak and disadvantaged people that he met. There was no more loyal friend. His strength and character became our strength. I knew right away that he would be a better man than I in every way. We went to Aquinas together, many times riding the city bus from Jefferson high to our Dewey Ave school. Don had a quiet strength; never bullied anyone. We enjoyed his great great smile. Once, as early teens, we almost died together when we were riding in a friend’s father’s brand new car and we wrecked the car. We were all fortunate to get out with hardly a scratch. In recent years, I was surprised to see his smiling face as he pulled into my driveway as I was washing my car. We sat a talked for about an hour. He would not accept anything to eat or drink. I had a feeling then that he had a strong premonition of death. He was instrumental in getting several of our grammar school brothers together for breakfasts. I am proud that he counted me in some way as his friend. I loved him. My heartfelt sympathy and condolences to Linda and the family.
Even though i am unable to attend the services for Don, I want the family to know his memories are fond ones when I worked with him and my prayers go out to the love ones and family members that cherished his relationships. God Bless to all of you.

I grew up with Don and Kenny. We hung out at Al’s Stand 0n Saratoga Ave. We wordked together at Delco and Monroe bus. He was the best man at my wedding and he goofed up my honeymoon night by missing his ride back to Rochester with Joe Dicecco. Most recently we would take day trips . What fun we had even though we would argue about who would pay for gas and lunch. I will miss you very much Twitch
I worked for many years at Delco/Valeo, retiring in 2002. Don was my zoneman for several of those years. Whenever he helped me, he did so with dedication and determination. He showed a passion for his role, and at the same time, was a fun guy to be around! My condolences.
I worked many years at Delco with Don he was caring and committed and and a very nice person to be around. MY sympathy to the family.
I worked with Don at Delco in the late 1980’s. I worked for management as the Hourly Personnel Representative and was responsible for moving hourly personnel between jobs and shifts. The relationship between the union and management can sometimes be challenging but working wiht Don was always a pleasure. He was very dedicated to the welfare of his union members and he worked hard for them. In our dealings, Don was always straight forward, factual and pleasant. He did not need to put on airs. I enjoyed working with Don very much. He was a class act and the world will be a little less caring without him. My prayers are with his friends and family.
I’ll never forget Don LeBoo.

The man who always had an answer or solution to what ever came his or anyone’s way. The man who could make the most upset or down person laugh. The man who could make everyone feel like they were on top of the world and nothing else matters. The man who always had a smile. The man that you could call at anytime and talk to. The man that helped everyone. The man that held his own head up high, as well as everyone’s. That man we all know as Donald C. LeBoo. He was like a mentor , a father figure, a best friend in my eyes. He taught me many things. I cherish every moment I got to spend with him and his classic sayings. I once asked him what his favorite was and he told me ‘What go’s around come’s around’ and then he said wait this too ‘ Treat people how you want to be treated’. I thank god for allowing me to meet Don in my life. I could not imagine what it could have turned out to be without him or his family. So Don this is for you…. Thank You for showing me the right way in life, Thank you for always being there when I had no one to call. Thank you for being that Father Figure to me and so many others. Love, JJ
