Buono, Dolores J. Spencerport: Peacefully, surrounded by her family, Saturday October 10, 2015. Survived by her husband of 53 years, Louis Buono; her children, John Buono, AnnaMaria (Tom) Ban, Michele Buono, Louis (Jennifer) Buono, Robert (Jessica) Buono and 15 grandchildren. Dolores was born in Brooklyn, NY on June 25, 1942. She met the love of her life at age 14 with whom she became a true partner in life. While holding hands, they worked hand-in-hand in the Buono Bakery in Brooklyn, then Staten Island, raised 5 children and finally relocated to the area and became part of the Rochester McFamily for over 35 years. Dolores enjoyed traveling with family, had a keen eye for the good things in life and adored more than anything, a house full of kids and a pot full of sauce. Friends may call Wednesday (Oct. 14) 4-8 PM at Vay-Schleich and Meeson Funeral Home, 1075 Long Pond Road. Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated Thursday 11:00 AM at St. Leo the Great Church, 167 Lake Ave, Hilton. Entombment, Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Rochester, NY in her memory.
