Lovall, Diane M. Greece: March 25, 2010 at age 76. Predeceased by husband, Lawrence Lovall, Jr.; sons, Lawrence Lovall & Michael Lovall. She is survived by her children, Charles (Joanne) Lovall, Catherine (Timothy) Gaspar, Joyce (Charles) McGarry, Gary Lovall, Karen (James) McAllister, James (Heather) Lovall, Marcia Lovall, Michele (Steve) Rudak & Scott (Cheryl) Lovall; step-children, Diana Rock & Patti Stafford; 36 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great grandson; daughter-in-law, Christine Lovall; 11 siblings; special nephew William (Marjorie) Humphrey; several nieces nephews and cousins; many dear friends. Friends may call Monday 4-8 P.M. at Vay-Schleich & Meeson Funeral Home, Greece Chapel, 1075 Long Pond Road. Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated, Tuesday 9:30 A.M. in the Chapel of St. Ann’s Community, 1550 Portland Avenue, Rochester NY 14621. Interment will be held privately in Mt. Hope Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Ann’s Community in her memory.
As I sat there, I observed her ‘earthly struggles’. I eventually envisioned her ‘leaving’ here- a very meaningful breath at a time-and getting closer to God~ Inhale God-Exhale earth’¦ Inhale Peace-exhale suffering’¦. This may just be my own quirky way of dealing with losing her. I am not certain. I am certain- that it is His will, not mine! -and I am at peace, that SHE is at peace. I’m not saying that I’m NOT going to get good and mad someday- some minutes’¦. Some seconds’¦, that he took her away from all of us’¦. BUT- I really hope that He can forgive my selfishness-and instill me with memories, and a knowing of her not being as far away as I may think. My emotions may vary, but my love never will.

Chuck, Joann and family…You were so lucky to have a mama that loved you all so much and she was lucky to have you. You were all wonderful to her and I know you’ll miss her terribly. I’m sorry for your lose. I wish I had the words to ease your sadness.

Diane was a kind and caring person whose family always came first. She will be truly missed… My thoughts are with you all at this time.
Diane will be greatly missed. I learned so much from her. After a long hard life she knew that the most important gift that God gave her was her family. Diane had many regrets from her past, but did everything she knew to make up for it. She loved her children & grandchildren, always wanted to do for them. When Diane gave it was from her heart, and gave and did without. I pray that her children will continue her love by sharing memories of her and being there for one another. (she wouldn’t of wanted it any other way). This will always be in my head and heart, hearing her say ‘I love you baby’. My condolences and prayers go out to the family as they experience her loss. Diane I know your with God now and I wait for the day to see you again. I’ll do your hair like I promiced. Love you bunches Terri
Diane will be missed by all. She was such a big part of so many peoples lives. My love and my prayers are with all her family and friends. Gods speed Diane. We will all be together again someday. Love you.

Gram- you would be so proud of me, I went to Macy’s today and opened up a charge card. You must have been there with me! I love you and even though I know your in a better place I can’t help but miss you.
Gram, I will miss our trips to Macy’s and our daily conversations. I am so glad Camryn got to meet you and spend so much time with you. You always said she was your baby and she reminded you of me. Gram, since i can remeber you are the only thing i’ve ever really known when it comes to grandparents. I’m so proud to say that i have such a strong and goodhearted grandmother like you. I love you with every piece of my heart and i’m going to miss you everyday. I wish i was stronger during your last few days with us and i wish i could have told you just how much you meant to me. You’ve helped me grow up alot, this experience has changed my outlook on life for the better. you showed me not to be scared and that there will always be somewhere for everyone to go,i strongly believe that you are still with me, helping me make the right choices in life. I will never forget 34 years ago she took me in off the streets. I will never forget the summer trips to Mendon Ponds that she would orginize, I will never forget that even though she had a houseful that she was raising on her own and keeping together, she always had room for more. I will never forget that it was her that stood up for me when others turned their back, and her that was there when i lost my parents, I thank you for everything you have given me….I will miss you

So sorry for the loss of Diane to the entire Lovall family! I will miss her and remember all the laughs we shared. She was a wonderful woman! She will be sadly missed by all.
