Tacy, DeWitt W. Florida: Suddenly, Wednesday, August 5, 2015 at age 74. Survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Mary Ellen Tacy; son, Timothy (Summer) Tacy; daughters, Lori (Joseph) Pelitera, Lisa (Eric) Simmons, Lynn (Timothy) Moore; 12 grandchildren; 4 great-granddaughters. Predeceased by his parents, DeWitt and Marion; son, DeWitt, Jr.; grandson, Layne Tacy; sisters, Rosemary and Joan. DeWitt was a retiree of Eastman Kodak, a life member of Barnard Fire Department and Exempts, and an avid woodworker. Friends may call Friday (August 21st) 5-8 PM at Vay-Schleich and Meeson Funeral Home, 1075 Long Pond Road. His Funeral Mass will be celebrated Saturday 9:30 AM at St. Charles Borromeo Church.
