Dean W. Bateman Sunday, June 4, 2023. Dean passed peacefully at age 78. He is survived by his loving wife, Carol; his daughter, Amy (Jim); three granddaughters; brothers, Noel (Sally), Craig (Lynn); sister, Kay (John) Tegelaar; loving family and dear friends. Dean was a proud veteran of the United States Army, served our Country during the Vietnam War and a member of 468 American Legion Post. He retired after 37 years at Eastman Kodak Co. He was an avid outdoorsman, enjoyed ballroom dancing and real photography. The family would like to thank the Neurosurgical ICU unit at Rochester General Hospital and hospice caregiver Kathy for the care, love and support. Dean’s visitation will be held Sunday. June 11 th 1-4 PM at Vay-Schleich & Meeson 1075 Long Pond Road. His Funeral Mass will be celebrated Monday, June 12 th 10:30 AM at Our Mother of Sorrows Church 5000 Mt. Read Blvd. Private interment, North Byron Cemetery.     Carol and Amy, I worked for Dean in Building 23, he was absolutely one of the good guys. I am so sorry for your loss sending prayers your way.

    Carol and Amy, I worked for Dean in Building 23 at Kodak Park. He was one of the best supervisors, who genuinely cared about his team. He will be missed. I am very sorry for your loss.
