Hermans, David Greece: Sunday, June 26, 2016 at age 70 went to be with our Lord after a courageous battle with cancer. Predeceased by his parents, Raymond & Joyce Hermans; great grand-nephew, Carl Joseph Catraccia. Survived by his loving wife, Noreen (Drago) Hermans; son, David Hermans; grandchildren, Rae & Jeremy Hermans; siblings, Daniel Hermans & Kathy (Tim) Ekiert; niece, Kellie (Carl) Catraccia; nephew, Matthew Ekiert; dear friends. David loved spending time with his family at the cottage on Chaumont Bay. He enjoyed fishing and playing darts. The family would like to thank their neighbors on Shoreway Drive and Hildebrandt Hospice for all the love and support that has been given to them during this difficult time. David’s visitation will be held Thursday, June 30th 2-4 & 7-9 PM at Vay-Schleich & Meeson Funeral Home, 1075 Long Pond Road. His Funeral Mass will be celebrated Friday, July 1st 11:00 AM at St. Marks Church 54 Kuhn Road, Greece, NY. Private Interment. Dave was such a great guy, always there with a smile or joke, or a Jello-Shot’. Rest in Peace my friend our prayers are with Noreen and family.
We will miss our dear neighbor of 27 years. He will live on in our hearts. Prayers and love go out to Noreen and Dave, Jr., Rae and Jeremy along with Kathy, Tim and Family.
