Mr. Betlem, I have many fond memories of spending time with Todd and your Family, while growing up in the Tenth Ward in Rochester. Your house on Birr Street seemed like a daily stop on my way home. I remember you as one of my first football coaches, the sports cars you drove and your love of Golf. I truly believe we will all meet again one day, and you will watch over your Family in the years to come. God Bless you.
Our hearts, thoughts and prayers are with you.
Uncle Dave was literally one of the funniest people I have ever met. He told me as a kid when I was in grade school playing the trumpet, ‘You know that being a trumpet player makes you a good kisser!’ I’ll never forget it, he said that walked over to Aunt Ann and gave her a huge kiss. I was hooked, so I played that trumpet like a fool and moved up to tuba thinking that would really increase my kissing skills. We had a good laugh on that topic… I loved golfing with him and fishing with him, besides the time the boat almost sank and caught fire. Full of life and what a guy… Love you Aunt Ann from the bottom of my heart… Caroline & Seti will give you a big kiss when we see each other soon… Love you!!!
Rest in Peace Dave ! You’ll be remembered for your smile, light heartedness and the fun we enjoyed in High School. 🙂 Trust you enjoyed a full life with your lovely wife Anne. Our condolences to Anne and Mrs. B Take Good Care !
Sorry for your loss. I worked with David for 30 years at Kodak. Played golf in Kodak tournament’s. We had a lot of laughs over the years. He was a smart and hard working guy. I’m sure he will be missed by his family and friends. Rest in peace.
Well, I cannot believe David is gone. What a shock to see this. I went to grammar school right through high school with him. I lived on the next street over from him on Whitman Road growing up. I remember Mrs. Betlem as she was a teacher. The last I saw David was at our Greece Olympia H.S. 25th Reunion, I believe. I am very sorry for your loss Anne and Mrs. Betlem. May he rest in peace.
