Darlene R. Confer
Greece: October 26, 1937-January 22, 2022; Passed peacefully. Predeceased by her parents, Claude Manville and Viola Gebhardt- Manville; her loving husband, Raymond H. Confer her siblings, Robert Manville and Gary Manville. Survived by her loving children, Cindy Confer, Tim (Amy) Confer, Susan (Rich) Sulimowicz; beautiful grandchildren, Stephanie (Brandon) Beyo, Courtney Confer, Tessa Sulimowicz and Lucas Sulimowicz; loving brother, Lance (Jeanne) Manville; her lifelong sister-in-law, Barbara (Jim) Zerkel. Her nieces and nephews were very special to her as well as her lifelong friends who she cherished in her heart. The family wishes to extend their immense gratitude to the RGH, ICU staff who took incredible care of Darlene while in RGH.
No prior calling. Her Funeral Service will be held Saturday (Jan 29th) 10:30 AM in the chapel of Vay-Schleich and Meeson, 1075 Long Pond Road. Private interment in Parma Union Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the charity of one’s choice in her memory.

My sincere condolences to the family. I have fond memories of all the great times we had in the old neighborhood on N Greece Rd. Our kids grew up together and Ray and Darlene were dear friends.

Dear Cindy, Tim and Susan, My heartfelt condolences to you and your family over the loss of your Mom. She was an incredible lady that left a lasting imprint on my heart as well as so many others. I will always treasure the memories; may yours bring you peace and comfort in the days ahead.
Tim, Though we have not seen your mom in several years, we still remember having fun conversations with her at some of your get togethers. We are sorry for your loss.

To: Cindy Tim and Susan Sorry to hear of your mothers passing. We’ve been friends for many years. I met her when she started dating Ray. She was about 16 at the time. I ended up being the Best Man at their wedding. Dar called me 2-3 Weeks ago. We had a nice conversation, talking about old times how things are today. She sounded good I was shocked when I heard she died. I’m sorry I will not be able attend her service. My family recently been exposed COVID-19. It’s best if I stay home. Darlene was a wonderful person. You have my deepest sympathy. I will be making a donation to Honor Flight Rochester in Dar’s Memory.
To Cindy,Tim & Susan I was so sad to hear of your Moms passing. She was my forever friend and I will miss her forever. I already have something I would like to share with her & it’s so hard not to be able to pick up that phone & call her. I have so many great memories with her, we had some great times .
