. It seems I and my generation are living through a phase in our journey where we begin to recognize our mortality. People like Daniel Hart and Katie Walker set an example of dignity and a loving heart. See you later Dan and Katie. I thank God for showing me the beauty in the souls of people who I have grown and traveled along this road of life. You will know one another by the fruits that they bear. This passage become quite clear.
Dan — Loved spending time with you. You were a ‘peach’ of a guy… laughing, skiing, golfing, just hanging out at the Godlas. You are missed and will be in our hearts until we join you on the other side. Will miss your laugh/smile and your Chicken French! Cheers to you, Danny.
Dan, Somehow I think your skiing on a sunny day in heaven enjoy! See you when I get there! Thanks for all your help through the years! Love, Sandra Lynn Maloney, CTRS Adaptive Ski Instructor Shared Adventure/CP Rochester
Danny ,— You will always be a SMILE in my life. Thanks for making my High School Days at IHS so very special. One day we will talk about Senioer Prom night again! My Deepest Sympathies to all your Family XOX
Danny was an old friend who hung with us (the Invictas) back in the 60’s. I lived with Danny in the very early 70’s on St.Paul/Summerville. I always got a kick when Danny went into the military he ends up in Ski Patrol!! I saw Danny last back in August when we (The Invictas) played at Charlotte for Concerts on the Shore. We laughed about all we have gone through in out lives and at our age we made it. Danny will be missed and I was honored to be one of his friends. Rest in Peace my old friend. You are missed.
God Bless you Dan. Your smile has always been a wonderful bright light. Rest in peace.
Good bye Uncle Danny – ski on my friend. Hope Heaven has good runs for you… save us a place in the lift lines…

I would like to quote a statement by a President to Dan’s family. Words of condolence in this sad World of ours, sorrow comes to all. It often comes with bitter agony. Perfect relief is not possible, except With time. You can not now believe that you will Ever feel better. But this is not true, you are sure to be happy again. Knowing this, truly believing it, Will make you less miserable now. I have had experience enough to Make this statement. Abraham Lincoln December 23, 1862
My deepest sympathies too Sue and the rest of the family. My heart goes out to you. Rest in peace Danny – the first guy in high school to have a Beatles haircut!

My very special American dad, Dan! You brought me in to your warm heart, as well as in to your lovely Hart-family, back in 1989. We will miss you! /mimmi
Sending my greatest sympathy to Dan’s family and friends. What a shock this is, I am at a loss for words. Even though I haven’t been in contact very much with Dan over the years, he was and always will be special to me. And I am so thankful to him for being so kind and loving to my niece and sister. He had a very big heart and a huge smile that I will always remember. May he rest in peace. Love Always, Mary Anne
