Rochester:  Monday, August 18, 2025 at age 61.  Predeceased by his father, Charles Neary Sr.; brother, Charles Neary Jr.; nephews, Steven and David.  Survived by his mother, Thelma Neary- Lochner; his siblings, Thomas (Joanne), Patricia and Nancy; sister-in-law, Lisa; ex-wife, Karen Coulter; nieces and nephews, Jonathan, Sarah, Bryan, Danielle Moscicki, Thomas, Sarah Tureman; many great nieces and nephews; many dear friends.  Dan worked at Eastman Kodak and the Genesee Brewery.  He enjoyed family, friends, golf, darts, horseshoes, playing cards and grilling.  Dan had a big heart and was a jokester.  There were many smiles and laughing when around Dan.  He enjoyed football, the Dallas Cowboys, Wisconsin; he loved baseball, the Cincinnati Reds.  Dan always had his favorite teams flag flying. 

Friends may call Monday (August 25th) 4-7 PM at Vay-Schleich and Meeson, 1075 Long Pond Road.  His Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday (Aug 26th) 10:30 AM at Our Mother of Sorrows Church.  Private Interment.  In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Veterans Outreach Center in his memory.

    I will miss the hockey season with Dan. He was a Boston Bruin fan and I was a New York Ranger fan. We would call each other during the games when they played each other mocking each other when our team had scored. I worked with him many years at Kodak and he was well liked by everyone. He will be dearly missed.
