Dear Sue & Family – I am so very sorry to hear of your loss. The memories of Daniel will be happy ones and always leave an afterglow of smiles within all the lives he touched. Lean on your faith for strength to see you thru this difficult time. My prayers are with all of you. XO
First off– To the Hutchings family my sincere condolences. I have known Hutch for quite a few years. I used to own Tom and Nancy’s in Greece and Dan would always have me deliver him a pie to Dewey Gardens when he worked there. I sit here writing this and really can’t believe he is gone. Although I know he lives on in all of our hearts forever. Every time I saw Hutch he had such a big smile out of any one in the room, so full of life and ready to help anyone. I’ll never forget the time Hutch was in my basement as I played country songs on the acoustic guitar for him. He started throwing dollar bills in my empty guitar case. That made all of us laugh so hard. I tried to give the money back but he wouldn’t hear of it. He just looked at me and said: That was an awesome show Dan-o, well worth the money. I will never forget you Hutch, the music plays on for you Danny Boy.
Hutch was such a good guy. Always taking care of me. He always made me smile and laugh. He walked into any room and he made the whole room light up. I am going tom miss him very much! My thoughts and prayer are with his friends and family throught this very rough time. Hutch: I love you very much and I am going to miss your smiling face. You are with my brother Scott now, so take care of eachother. Until we meet again!
Hutch was such an amazing person, always smiling, always had something to say to make you laugh. He had such a big heart. We all loved you, and will all miss you so much. My thoughts are with his parents, brother, Kate, and everyone whose heart he touched.
Hutch will be miss… He was a wonderful person. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family, friend & Kate
Hutch you will be forever missed, but never forgotten. My thoughts and prayers are with his family through this difficult time.
Hutch, I cant believe it was just barely a week ago that I seen you and was talking to you about softball starting soon. You will sadly be missed. Our hearts and prayers go out to you, your family, your friends & Kate. God Bless All of You & remember that it may not be easy but to always remain strong. Dan will always be watching from above.
Hutch, Will always be missed, but always on my mind. You were like a little brother to me. I can’t believe you are gone. I love you man. God Bless!
Hutch.. You left us way too soon, and I can’t wait till we meet up one day together again in God’s eternal light. Our friendship meant so much to me, and I was so fortunate to be blessed in knowing you. Your family will always have so many other family and friends to turn to in need, but I will make sure they know they can always turn to me. As I could always rely on you as a good friend, they will be able to rely on me.
Hutch…. Sitting here typing this, like everyone else, I can’t believe you’re gone… Though we aren’t related, I’ve thought of you as part of my family for as long as I can remember…. You are going to be sorely missed buddy, but we will surely meet again someday….. Mr/Mrs Hutch & Mike – You have mine and my family’s deepest condolences… Hutch’s memory will definetly live on in those whom he touched
Hutcher, we will miss you so much. We had so many great times at bowling. I hope we can all learn something from this tragedy. Peace and love my brother, God Bless to you and your family during this difficult time. Love Benny Sem
Hutchy What the heck I thought Kathie me and you were going to the casino this month. I guess God had other plans for you. He knows a good catch when he sees one. You know how much we love you and miss you. Please watch over Kate and your family they need you now more than ever. As corny as it sounds Hutch you indeed were a gift. It was a privledge being a part of your life and for that I thank you and will forever cherish the memories we have made together. I love you sweet Hutch and we will meet again someday. Jean ‘LATONE’
I am very sorry to hear of your loss. Hutch was a large part of my life growing up. I have very fond memories of our time together at my parents house (The Fartins, I believe it was Hutch that gave me that fabulous nickname), the bowling alley, and billards. I am sorry I didn’t have the opportunity to say goodbye. My thoughts and prayers are with you.
I got to know Hutch by working with him at the bowling alley and he was always so fun to be around and such a kind hearted person. He was loved by many and will be missed by so much more. You’ll always be thought about and missed…He better be rooting for them Yanks still! =)
I have been thinking about what to say, and just can’t believe it. He was so young, and there are so many unanswered questions, that makes it not seem real, it just can’t be! It’s just not right, it doesn’t make sense. Jim bowled with him on Wednesday nights, and he was so full of life, it just overflowed to everyone. Hutch you will be missed. Our sincere condolences to the family and Kate, we will keep you in our prayers. Atleast we can communicate and say how we are feeling. God Bless
I just heard the news of your great loss. My heart feels so heavy, I can’t even imagine what you must be going through right now. I wish I wasn’t so far away. I would like to be there for all of you. Please know that I will keep all of you and Daniel in my prayers. I pray that you will feel the peace of God and know that He is with you through all of this. With love and sympathy, Chris Kordenbrock (Meagher)
I knew Dan as a child. He was such a sweet boy. I have many fond memories of Dan, Mike, and Jim. They were all so important to me. Dan will always hold a special place in my heart. He will be missed.
I knew Hutch for many years and unfortunally time and life made us part, but when ever I saw him it was like yesturday was the last time we hung out. I saw him three weeks ago and he told me told me how happy he was with Kate and how great his family was. So please know that he was in a great place. And back when Hutch and I were close his best friend besides his brother was his dog Maggie and I am sure that he is with her now playing with her like he use to. Hutch is one of the most dynamic people I have ever know. And we are all lucky for the time that we had with him. He will be missed but never forgotten. We will always be Lakeshores Teather Ball (spelling?) champs :). His friends, family and loved ones are in my prayers and thoughts. And there is no better person up there to watch over you all them him. I am bleesed to be able to say that he was a friend of mine. 3333
I knew of Hutch from the early days at Dewey. He did leave us way to soon but now we know that he is with God looking down on all of us and keeping us safe. God Bless you Dan and thanks for all the great memories.
I loved Hutch like a brother, we had so many good times together and I will cherish them all. My love goes out to his family and other friends, he will not be forgotten.
I will always remember Dan as the kid who always wore shorts even in the winter. He was a great guy who will be missed deeply. My thoughts and prayers are with his family and friends. God Bless.
I will always remember Dan for the fun loving person that he was. He always had a quick wit about him and we truly enjoyed his company. He will always be a part of our family. Our thoughts and prayers are with his Parents, Kate, family and friends.
I will never understand why God chooses to take certain people away from us so quickly. May you all find comfort and strength in one another to get you through this difficult time and know that Dan’s smile and loving memory will live on in the family and friends whose lives he touched so deeply. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you.
I’m so sorry that I won’t be able to make it there in person. I want his family and Kate to know that my thoughts and prayers are with them. Hutch was such a great, genuine person who will truly be missed. And while it’s true that life and the different roads we take cause people to grow apart, I will never forget all the times we had together- like hanging out at the pool hall or the bowling alley, or of course hanging out at the ‘Fartins’. Hutch, you are a part of the best memories of my life and I will never, ever forget.
It’s hard hearing about such a tragic loss. It has been a while since I have seen Hutch, but the memories are so fond. He could light up the room with just his smile, and crack everyone up in minutes. He will be greatly missed. My thoughts and prayers are with his family, friends, and Kate.

Ron, Sue, and Mike: What does one say at a time like this when a life is taken so young and suddenly? We are at a loss for words. I did want to share with you that I made Jim a photo album of Black Lake for Christmas last year and while I was going through the photos, there were pictures of Dan, Mike, Jimmy and Stacy. The boys were usually standing proudly by their Dad’s with the ‘big bass catch.’ Dan always had a smile on his face that would light up the sky and we remember those times so fondly. It is memories like this that will keep him always with everyone that knew him. God must have other plans for Dan. Bless you all during this difficult, difficult time. We have you in our thoughts and prayers. Peace be with you, Love, Joyce, Jim and Stacy
