Thomas, Claire Avery Rochester: Born an angel on November 20, 2015 and went to her Heavenly Home November 21, 2015. Infant daughter of, Michael & Katie (Lodato) Thomas; sister, Whitney Philipp; brother, Chase Thomas; grandparents, Karol & Dean Thomas, Patricia Moran, Steven (Wendy) Lodato; great-grandparents, Herman & Mildred Mueller, Irene Lodato; Aunt, Elizabeth (Joseph Escobar) Thomas; Uncle, Steven (Alicia) Lodato; many loving family and dear friends. Claire’s visitation will be held Friday, November 27th 9-11 AM at Vay-Schleich & Meeson Funeral Home, 1075 Long Pond Road, where her Funeral Service will follow at 11:00 AM in the Chapel of the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Golisano’s Children Hospital, NICU (www.urmc.rochester.edu) in her memory. I pray for peace for you. I pray for peace for Claire. I’m so sorry, you have to know this pain, my heart breaks for you. I struggle to find words to say because it’s just doesn’t make sense. I feel I was blessed to be apart of her life, short as it was. I will always hold her in my heart and think of her often. She was beautiful and precious. She was surrounded by love, I believe she knew that. I love you guys.

We never got the chance to meet you. For reasons no one can understand
you were taken almost as quickly as you arrived. Your memory will be held in the
highest regard, for what little time you spent here was precious. You are so loved and you will be kept alive in the hearts of those you touched. Watch over your Mommy and Daddy, little Claire, very few can comprehend the pain and devastation they are experiencing. We wish we could have met you Claire Avery and we pray that you are at peace.
