Cherly came into my life when I was 17. She was my brother’s girlfriend. Remained friends for years. Was a very dear friend. We had a lot of laughs. Rest in peace. Love Joanne Billotti

I met Cheryl and her sister Arlene when I moved to Congress Avenue in 1956. I was 9, Cheryl was 12. She was my hero and the leader of the group of kids who played together in the neighborhood, in the streets, and in the cemetery. We moved to another place in Rochester when I was 12. The next year, my mom died, and although I had not seen Cheryl during those 2 years, she organized the neighbor kids to go to calling hours. It was the greatest comfort in those difficult days/years. I never forgot Cheryl and Arlene.
