To the family of very dear neighbors Marilyn and Ron . Very fond memories of working together at St. John’s in Greece and all the other fun times we shared.
Dear Ron, Bill and Maryanne and Famlies, Mr. Timmons will be deeply missed by all that knew him. He was such a wonderful man , always showing his caring and concerned ways. We have so many great memories of him and the family. His was always the first Christmas card that we received every year. We just can’t begin to express to all of you how sad our hearts are. He was for sure one of our favorite family customers as well as his wonderful family. Mr. Timmons was always so proud of his family and to tell us about the great things going on in his life and especially watching his big smile when he’d come in with one of you kids. We know it’s hard but he’s now with your wonderful mom and he’ll always be with you in memory and heart. May God Bless Him and All of You. Rest in peace Mr. Timmons. Please Accept Our Deepest Sympathy. Love. Mike and Nancy Colakoglu (Mico Transmissions) PS We will never forget Conesus Lake the boat rides and dinner. Time goes by too fast thank God for the memories.
Very sorry for your lose. I always liked Mr. T’s visits to the firehouse.
Bill and Family, I am so sorry for the loss of your Dad. I hope you find comfort in the fact that he is at peace. My thoughts are with you as you work through the changes this presents. Be well. Brenda
Saddened to learn of Ron’s passing. I knew that he was having health issues but was hoping he’d get though the storm. He’ll be missed by many, including me. I’ll miss his frequent emails, telling of the passing or sickness of other classmates and little tidbits about monthly breakfasts or lunches. Living here in mid-Missouri I wasn’t able to be a regular at the table, but Ron helped me be there in spirit. And, I’ll miss his sly humor.
In Ron"s passing, we lost not only a wonderful "50"s classmate but a truly great friend. He was a gentleman in every, every sense of the word. His dedication to Aquinas, especially to our 1950 class, was steadfast. Ron made everyone aware that this was not only the largest class ever but the first class to spend our first year away from the main Dewey Ave, campus over at a former public school on LaGrange Ave. ,a few miles from the Dewey Ave. facility. Without upper classmates around, this arrangement made for a truly unique bonding experience in which fellow classmates fast became truly great friends, in many cases for life. I’m sure Ron’s dedication did not go unnoticed by St. Thomas Aquinas up in heaven. He’s probably got Ron rounding up other deceased members of the class of 1950 and setting up a heavenly reunion. Rest in peace good buddy.
My prayers and thoughts are with all my cousins, the family and friends of such a kind and wonderful man. Much love from AZ cousin. Lori Timmons-Crofutt & family.
Ron Timmons was a selfless leader and participator among the young people at Holy Cross Parish in Charlotte when I was a youngster. I have nothing but fond memories of him. My brother Jack, and my sister-in-law Mary Lou Kavanaugh, also knew Ron well, back in those days. May Ron rest in peace!
