Friday, December 15, 2006. He is predeceased by his wife, Mary C. He is survived by his daughters, Joanne C. Butler and Nancy A. Petranto of California; brothers, Samuel, Angelo(Jean), Joseph, and Michael(Dorothy)Petranto; sisters, Rose(Lawrence)Preston and Grace(Anthony)Nardone; grandchildren, Krista(Christopher)Juliana, Brett Iwanowicz, Charles Glover, Catherine Butler and Marilyn Hien Petranto; many nieces and nephews. Charles was a WWII Army Veteran, member of the Rochester Musicians Association, International Brothrhood of Painters, Paternal Order of Eagles, British American Club, Loyal Order of Moose and he supported the Rochester Philharmonic Orchestra. Friends may call Sunday 2-5PM at Vay-Schleich & Meeson Funeral Home, 1075 Long Pond Rd. His Funeral Mass will be celebrated Monday at 9:15AM at St. Charles Borromeo Church. Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Alzheimer’s Association in his memory.
