Greece: November 27, 2012 departed this life suddenly but peacefully at the age of 73. Welcomed into heaven by his mother and father, Elizabeth and Anthony Liberi. Survived by his loving wife of over 50 years, Mary Jane (Fiorica); daughters, Char, Cheryl (Frank) Ehrne and Christine; brothers, James (Paula)and David (Kelly); sister, Shirley (James) Cavallaro; half-brother, Albert Cafferelli, Aunts, Laura and Marion; God-sons, Michael Liberi and Sammy Columbo; many cousins; nieces and nephews and predeceased by surprising feline love, Emmy. Chuck was a hard working man and wonderful provider for his family to whom he was very dedicated. He faced many health challenges in the winter of his life to which he miraculously recovered. Polycystic kidney disease destined Chuck for renal failure at the age of 52. He had a kidney transplant that lasted over 13 years, but eventually expired and caused him to be on dialysis until the current time. Chuck also had a quadruple heart by-pass at the age of 70, along with many other illnesses along the way. He is now at peace with our Lord. Chucks visitation will be held Sunday, December 2nd 2-6 PM at Vay-Schleich & Meeson Funeral Home, 1075 Long Pond Rad. His Funeral Mass will be celebrated, Monday, December 3rd, 11:30 AM at Holy Ghost Church. Interment will be held privately. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the National Kidney Foundation of Western New York, 15 Prince Street, Rochester, NY 14607 in Chuck’s memory. Live life to the fullest, Laugh often. Be good to those around you.
To the Liberi Family: I was so sad to hear about your loss. Mr. Liberi was such a wonderful man and he always treated me like one of his girls with such love and kindness. He will truly be missed. I am sorry that I cannot be there to celebrate his life with you, but know you are all in my thoughts and prayers.
