Palumbo, Charles A. Rochester: Saturday, September 16, 2017 at age 90. Predeceased by his sister, Mary Campione. Survived by his loving wife of 69 years, Mary Palumbo; his son, Frank (Ellen) Palumbo; Linda (Michael) Peerenboom; grandchildren, Charles (Michelle) Palumbo, Stacy (Chris) Pelcher, Maria and Cameron Peerenboom; great-grandchildren, Haleigh (Joseph) Hidy, Jake and Mitch Palumbo; Sam and Christopher DiPasquale, Saraya Pelcher; great-great-grandchildren, Joseph and Bentley Hidy; brother, Saverio Palumbo; brother-in-law, Christopher Colombo; many nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends. Charlie enjoyed golfing, gardening and spending time with his family. He was a retiree of Delco Products. Friends may call Monday TODAY (Sept 18th) 4-8 PM at Vay-Schleich and Meeson Funeral Home. His Funeral Mass will be celebrated Tuesday (Sept 19th) 10:00 AM at St. Mark’s Church, 54 Kuhn Road. Entombment, Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Hildebrandt Hospice Care Center in his memory. For more information or to sign Charles’s online guestbook, please visit www.MeesonFamily.com
Sir’ Charles, you will be greatly missed. A loving husband, proud father, grandfather and a great grandfather. You always had a kind word for all that came into contact with you. Saturday masses will not be the same! May you rest in peace with God’s blessings upon you.
