Let the family know you care by sharing this tribute
Hilton, New York, passed away suddenly on March 17, 2026 at age 43.
Chante’ was born to James and Linda Post of Hilton, NY. She pursued her passion for caring for others at St. John Fisher University, where she earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing. She went on to serve as a Registered Nurse, dedicating her career to helping those in need.
Chante’ life centered around her three children, Ethan Holmes, Emma Carpino, and Jackson Carpino. She shared a co-parenting relationship with her former spouse, Stephen Carpino.
Chante’ enjoyed spending time with her children, especially participating in historical community activities together. Her caring nature extended beyond her family—her heart for the sick led her into nursing, and she had a special compassion for those in need, particularly children.
In addition to her children, Chante’ is survived by her parents, James and Linda Post; her siblings, Jason (Katrina) Post, Jordan Post; and many extended family members and friends.
Her Celebration of Life will be held at Vay-Schleich & Meeson, 1075 Long Pond Road, Saturday (April 25th) from 11:00am – 1:00pm followed by a 1 hour tribute where family and friends are invited to share a special memory of Chante’.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to support underprivileged children of single mothers in the City of Rochester in attending fishing camp. Contributions may be made payable to: Children’s Camp Faith Church, 1876 Elmwood Avenue, Rochester, NY 14620.
