With much love, we mourn the sudden passing of Carole E Carroll (C.C./G.G) of Greece, NY. On April 16, 2025 at the age of 82. She will truly be missed by her husband, Michael, and her son, Thomas P. Torpey (Ann). She will be lovingly remembered by her grandkids, Amanda (Dan), Alex (Annalee) and Arianna (Phillip); Great grandchildren, Maeve and Daniel Brady, and Chase Torpey; Sister Gail Kuhner, Sister-in-law Sue Greenauer; Charles (Patricia) Carroll, Kathy (Chuck) Seltenreich and several nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by parents Elizabeth and Carl Greenauer, brother George; In-laws Charles and Margaret Carroll, Pat and James Causland.
Carole retired from Kodak in 1990. She enjoyed time at Greece school district as a bus monitor and at Burger King for fun, working with her sister, Gail. She was the best at making macaroni salad, deviled eggs, stuffed peppers and around Christmas time never forgot to make her famous Christmas cookies, chocolate and rum cake! She was a frequent donor to many charities including St. Jude’s, Wounded Warriors and many more. A devoted Yankee fan, went out with a win 4-2!
A celebration for the lovely lady will be held on Tuesday, April 22nd from 3 to 7pm at Mr. Dominics at the Lake. Eat, drink and tell stories. In lieu of flowers, donations to Carole’s favorite charities would be much appreciated.
My condolences
Sorry to hear about Carole’s passing. We were friends for many year but had only seen her and Gail a few years ago. I had hoped to see her when I was up last October visiting my son, George, but it didn’t work out. I’m sure she will be greatly missed.
