Paul, so very sorry to learn of Carol’s death. Carol and I went to high school together and spent a lot of time together in the 1980s as single moms. I will never forget the time we took you and my 2 sons camping at Darien Lake!! We had the most fun that weekend, I still have those photographs. I also was at a lot of picnics at your grandparents house, as we lived on Morrow Drive at the time. Of course we lost touch over the years but I’ll always remember her with joy. Again, my deepest sympathy to you and the rest of the family.

Paul, your mom and I went to grammar school and high school together. We grew up on Biscayne Drive and spent some very wonderful and happy times at my grandparents cottage on Cayuga Lake. We evolved into what we called The Big Four-Carol, Angela, Mary and me. Later in high school we increased our numbers and became The Super 7. When we were about to turn 60 we gathered the group together to reminisce and celebrate. I have such great memories of your mom and the crazy things we did. I will miss her and am so glad that she was a big part of my life. Yes we all got busy with life and family and jobs but we were always The Big Four and The Super 7. She loved you dearly and always wanted the best for you. Annie Ostertag

    Paul
I am awfully sorry about your loss. Your mother and I had a lot of good times together. I am sorry I can not make it there, the weather here is ugly. If there is anything I can do please call me.

Paul, my heart is broken hearing this terrible news. Carol and I had last spoken when she was trying to figure out what was happening to her body. I called a few weeks ago and left a message. My gut told me something was wrong. I’m so sorry to hear of the loss of your mom. My heart aches for you and all of us that love her. Please know I am wishing I could have been there for her and you. God bless.
