Shuba, Carl S. Rochester, NY: Thursday, April 27, 2017 at age 52. Predeceased by his father, Leo J. Shuba. Survived by his mother, Joan C. Shuba (Manoski); sister, Denice Shuba; beloved and devoted Mellow; aunts and uncles, John and Rosemary Manoski, Maryann O’Neill, Joseph and Bonnie Shuba, Robert Slater; several loving cousins, dear friends and neighbors. Carl was loved and respected for his dedication, his sense of humor and his contagious smile. He was a bright spot in so many lives. Friends may call Monday (May 1st) 4-8 PM at Vay, Schleich & Meeson Funeral Home, 1075 Long Pond Road. His celebration will continue at Semian Funeral Home, 704 Union Street, Taylor, PA. All my thoughts and prayers are with your mom and sister, and family & close friends. So many memories have gone through my mind from high school these last few days of you, and classes we had together, and you insane hysterical sense of humor!! You got me in trouble so many times because I would never stop laughing once you started whispering to me!. But MOST of all, when I was 18 or 19, not such nice guys from the city had rolled up on my and a girlfriend walking on Long Pond and they were trying to get us in their car, we were very frightened, and you were OUR ANGEL!!! You many have saved our lives that night!!! You just happened to show up and yelled our names and off they sped away! You took us home, and helped us calm down. I will never forget you!!
