As a child, I would visit Bruce almost daily to play with the dogs, see his most recent phesant, or to just have some conversation. He never turned me away and always had a soda ready for me. As the years passed, I would stop from time to time to share a laugh and a smile. I will always remember him fondly as a wonderful neighbor and a good friend.

I lost contact after he left Park Ridge. Bruce was special man and a good friend. I shot my first pheasant with him over thirty years ago, the memory is as clear as if it happened yesterday. When afield with his dogs he always had a twinkle in his eyes and a grin on his face.
