Greece: Friday, August 23, 2013. Predeceased by his parents, Edward and Lucy; faithful dog, Rudy. Survived by his loving wife of 47 years, Barbara Gaita; children, Michael Gaita, Kim Borkholder, David Gaita, Lisa (Jamie) Johnson; grandchildren, Nicole, Ciara, Cassidy, Joshua, Riley and Ryan; sister, Laurie Wnuk of Florida; dear friends. Friends may call Wednesday (August 28th) 5-7 PM at Vay-Schleich & Meeson Funeral Home, 1075 Long Pond Road, Greece Chapel, where his funeral service will follow Wednesday at 7:00 PM in the funeral home chapel. I have only known Mr. Gaita for a few short months. Be i felt like i have known him for years. I will miss the conversations that we had and i will miss my friend. He was truly a nice man. My prayers are with you all at your time of sadness
