I’m so very sorry to hear of Uncle Bill’s passing. I remember being a little girl and going out to dinner with Grama and Uncle Bill down by Charlotte. He was wearing a red and white checkered button down shirt and Grama was harping on him all through dinner saying, ‘You look like a table cloth! You’re wearing a red checkered table cloth!’. Uncle Bill squinted his eyes, peered over at Gram and sneered, ‘Pipe down over there’. We all burst out laughing and had a wonderful evening. I’ve heard so many wonderful stories about Uncle Bill; my thoughts and prayers are with all of his loved ones. xoxoxoxoxo

Say What?’ ‘Says Who?’ ‘I Don’t Think So!’ Those three phrases will always stick in my head when I think of you! And of course some other of your famous sayings that are not to appropriate to share lol! You were my only Grandpa that I had and I will deeply miss you! You always made me laugh with your sence of humor! To our # ‘1’ Grandpa and Great Grandpa, we (Jayda and Masyn) love you and we will always remember you. I promise to give you the best haircut when we meet again! 😉
So sorry to hear about the passing of Mr. Upchurch. To all his kids … my brothers and sisters and I have many many fond memories of you all being nice friends and neighbors on Ridgeway Avenue in our childhood. In fact, I cried so hard when my best friend Johnny died back then. It’s been years, but I still can easily recall some of the best times our families shared. My deepest sympathies to every one of you.
So very sad to see you go Mr. Upchurch but we are happy that you are at peace and will be watching over us. We love you and will miss you more than words can express. We love you more!

We are going to miss you Uncle Bill. I will miss your quiet wisdom, your sense of humor and the shared memories of family and loved ones now gone. I hope you are with my Grama drinking ice tea on a front porch up there. Sitting around with Johnny and Kathy and all the rest. I always loved you. xoxoxo Lindy
