I knew Bev for many years. She was a good soul taken too soon. My condolences to her sister Barb and her whole family. The sisters were close and always together a lot when I knew them in their younger years. I am so sorry for your loss

John and I are deeply sorry to learn of Bev’s passing. She was such a pleasant person, with a witty sense of humor. We hope that a lot of happy memories, and a belief in the Lord, will get you through your darkest days. May she rest in the arms of God, and be surrounded by angels.

Bev was my Nazareth Academy sister, from the Class of 1972. Although we didn’t see each other over the years, I will cherish my high school memories of her. Bev and Terri are in heaven now watching over all of us.

Bev will be sorely missed, she was my friend for many years. She recently crocheted a blanket for my grandson, I will treasure that kind gesture forever. I was always in awe of her golfing, she was a natural talent. She would take a half swing and out drive all of us. I would laugh every time she used her her favorite 7 iron that had a weird rattle to it, but she would always be so accurate with that darn club. Her hole-in-one at Salmon Creek will go down in history!! Most heartwarming of all was how she would light up as she talked about her nephews, they were her joy in life.
You will be missed everyday Bev, I love you.

My heart is heavy as I write this reflection. Bev welcomed me with open arms when I joined the ladies golf league at Brockport Country Club. I was really concerned about not fitting in. The first week she was in the foursome with me and that was the start of a great friendship. We golfed in many tournaments together. My fondest golf memory is playing with her at the breast cancer tournament at Arrowhead. She was in contention to win. It was a blazing hot day so we sat under a tree and drank 5 beers waiting for the results. Good thing she didn’t win because neither one of us couldn’t have walked over to claim the prize. She will always be with me on the course now.

i did not know Beverly as an adult, only as a very little girl when our dads played baseball together for Kodak Park. She and her sister were so small when their mother died. The Kodak baseball community as well as the Charlotte community were stunned. I was a young girl myself at the time but remember the sadness and I am also a Nazareth alumna ’62. I pray the family will be comforted by happy memories and Beverly is at peace with her Lord.
