Betty M. Mawson ‘Nonnie’

Mawson, Betty ‘Nonnie’ Greece, NY. October 7, 2016 at age 92. Predeceased by her husband, William Mawson. Survived by her daughter, Kathy DeLorme,; grandchildren, Lori (Michael) Shaw, Peter (Pam) DeLorme; great grandchildren, Ryan and Delaney Shaw, Madison and Cole DeLorme. She was a retiree of Eastman Kodak Company, Utilities Division, and a life-long Mets fan. The family would like to thank the 3rd floor staff of St. Ann’s Home on Portland Ave., especially April, Traci, Cindy and Martha for the special care they gave her. Betty’s visitation will be held Saturday October 15th 10:00-11:00 AM at Vay, Schleich & Meeson Funeral Home, 1075 Long Pond Road where her service will follow at 11:00 in the Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will be held Monday, October 17th 11:00 AM at Riverside Cemetery. (meet at gate of cemetery.) In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the Ronald McDonald House- Oak St., Attention: House Manager, 621 Oak St. SE, Minneapolis, MN 55414., in memory of Betty and where her great-grandson, Cole is currently recovering after undergoing a successful bone marrow transplant.
