Greece NY, Tuesday, July 16, 2024 at age 98. Predeceased by her husband, Durwood (Bud) Schmidt; son, Donald; daughter-in-law, (Deborah) of Michigan; sisters, Elaine (Everett) Hepler, Iva (Francis) McCracken, Alice (Barry) McGrane; brother George (Barbara) Herman.
Survived by son, Daniel (Janice); Daniel’s sons, Cory (Tara), Timothy (Jess); cousin, Isabelle Rodwell; granddaughter, Tracy (Scott) Carter; grandson, Jason (Sheryl) Schmidt; great-grandchildren Daniel, Madison, Emma, and Elizabeth of Michigan.
She will be fondly remembered by all nieces, nephews, loving family members, dear friends, and neighbors.
Bette’s Memorial Service will be held Saturday (August 10th) at 10:00 AM at Lakeview Community Church, 30 Long Pond Road. Interment, Private in Riverside Cemetery.
Bette’s family would like to invite all that has supported them, and invite all of you to join us for refreshments and life stories in the fellowship hall after we exit the sanctuary.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Lakeview Community Church.
