A treasured grandma and friend, her four grandchildren were always impressed with her abilities to jump fences at any time if it meant saving a cat. Betsy had a knack for wearing gold shoes and white slacks past Labor Day, vigilantly fought stains on her husband’s clothes and always offered a grandchild her sweater. Betsy was admired for her honesty ‘€œ be it calling someone a jerk if they deserved it or admitting she liked Star Magazine (she would be very happy Jennifer Aniston is now engaged). She loved her children deeply and they will remember her as a character, while her grandchildren will remember her as one of the most inspirational people in their lives. Betsy died peacefully holding her son’s hand. Services will be held at the convenience of the family in Florida. A private interment will be held at Trinity Memorial Gardens, Trinity, Florida.
