I have such wonderful memories of the years Barbara and I were in Grad School at Boston University in Speech Pathology and Audiology from 1964-66. They were such fun days of learning, laughing and developing new and lasting friendships. Even though we kept in touch only at Christmas after that, it was always such a joy to receive the annual update from Barbara. There was always joy in her heart and peace in her soul. I will treasure her memory and the joy she brought to others. I feel so enriched to have known her and I know there is a special place for her with our Lord. God bless you, Barbara, and thank you for letting me be in your life if only for a few years. You always signed your cards ‘Love and Prayers’ and now I sign this back to you………just one more time with tears in my eyes. Love and Prayers from Allan
I’ll never forget all the joyful Christmas Eve’s I spent with my Twamley cousins at our grandparents home on Cady Street all through the 30s, 40s and 50s. Each of the children would open their presents while sitting on a stool in the living room. I believe the order was from yongest to oldest which meant that I came right after cousin Marcia Mahon and just before cousin Barbara Taylert. I remember Barbara;s love of music and her calm and pleasant manner and, of course, the many visits to her Rock Beach Road home on hot summer days when we were all so young. It saddened me to learm that her sister Pat had predeceased her. I was not aware of that. Cousin Alan Bock
